"Cameron Facilities Ltd are architects and project managers who specialise in the Builders Merchants sector.  Our principal client is the Grafton Group who operate, among others, Buildbase and Plumbase.  We design andimplement most of their property requirements throughout the UK.

We first became associated with Multi-Fab Construction Ltd almost15 years ago when we contracted them for many small steel related projects.  Regardless of size they always performed well and we continued to include them in tender lists when we started to do larger projects.  These projects included recladding and reroofing, extensions and mezzanines.  We have always had excellent service from Multi-Fab Construction Ltd and competitive prices.  On these jobs Multi-Fab Construction Ltd acted as a nominated sub-contractor.

We then started doing new build projects for Buildbase and had a roll out of 6 to tender.  Multi-Fab Construction Ltd, acting as a main contractor, won the contract and proceeded to build new steel framed buildings at Aylesbury, Wellwyn Garden City, Harlow, Coventry, Haverhill, Norwich and Market Drayton.  The works Multi-Fab Construction Ltd were responsible for included all site preparation, steel frame, cladding and roofing, internal fit out yard works and services.  All were completed within budget and in general programmes were met.  Workmanship was good and in all cases we had no contractual conflicts.

The average value of the new build projects mentioned above was around £1 million each.  During the same period Multi-Fab Construction Ltd continued to carry out smaller projects of values between £10,000 and £200,000.  Their safety record and attention to detail has been excellent.

We would have no hesitation in continuing to use Multi-Fab Construction Ltd for work either as a steelwork and cladding works contractor or as an all-in contractor and in recommending them to other parties.

We have worked with Multi-Fab on various projects for over ten years ranging from simple valet bay buildings to new builds, our contracts with multi-fab have been in the range of £50,000 - £500,000, the latter being Honda UK’s new corporate identity site at Romford where Multi-Fab installed all the steelwork and cladding.

We are constantly benchmarking our sub-contractors and find Multi-Fab competitive whilst tendering against other contractors.

We have completed some very difficult contracts with Multi-Fab, one being raising an inside roof at Ruislip. They are a pro-active company that find solutions and not problems. They are used to working to tight programmes and congested environments.

Multi Fab Construction was approached to help design and build our purposes built 21,000 sq ft unit in Bromsgrove.  All the employees and sub contractors were fantastic.  The build was too a very high standard and on a tight deadline.  The finished building is amazing; we were kept informed all the way through with updates and progress.  When we made a few alterations during the build Multi Fab took it on board and ensured the alterations were dealt with efficiently and without objection, they were very professional throughout the build.  We would have no hesitation to recommend Multi Fab Construction from a small repair project to a complete build like ours from groundwork's to handing the keys to us.
